From Pompeii, head to the Pompeii Scavi train station and take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. Alight at the last stop, Sorrento. From Sorrento, walk to the Sorrento harbor and catch a ferry to Capri. Once you arrive in Capri, take the bus towards Anacapri. Get off at the stop closest to Via Caposcuro, and walk to the Monte Solaro Chair Lift located at Via Caposcuro, 10.

From Pompeii, make your way to the Naples port (Porto di Napoli) using public transport. You can take the Circumvesuviana train to Naples and then a bus or walk to the port. At the port, board a ferry to Capri. After arriving in Capri, follow signs to the Anacapri bus station and take a bus to Anacapri. Get off at the nearest stop to Via Caposcuro, then walk to the Monte Solaro Chair Lift at Via Caposcuro, 10.
