If you are starting from the Pompeii Archaeological Park entrance, exit the park and head towards the main road, Corso Giuseppe Mazzini. Walk straight along this road until you reach the intersection with Via Plinio. Turn right onto Via Plinio and continue walking for about 500 meters. Pompei City Train will be on your left at Via Plinio, 31.

From the Pompeii train station (Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri), board a local bus that heads towards the city center. Get off at the stop for Corso Giuseppe Mazzini. From there, walk towards Via Plinio and turn left. Pompei City Train is located at Via Plinio, 31, just a short walk from the bus stop.
