Walking
If you are starting from the center of Pompeii, head towards the main square, Piazza Bartolo Longo. From there, walk northwest on Via Roma for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance of Scavi di Pompei, located at Viale delle Ginestre. Look for the large ticket booth where you can purchase your entry ticket.

If you are near the Pompeii Archaeological Park Visitor Center, exit the center and walk directly to Viale delle Ginestre. The entrance to Scavi di Pompei is just a short walk away, approximately 5 minutes on foot. You will see signs directing you to the archaeological site.

From the Pompeii Train Station, exit the station and head south towards Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi. Turn right onto Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi and continue walking straight for about 15 minutes. You will eventually reach the entrance of Scavi di Pompei on Viale delle Ginestre, which will be on your left.

If you are staying at a local hotel, ask your reception for directions to Viale delle Ginestre. Most hotels in Pompeii are within a 20-minute walking distance from Scavi di Pompei. Just follow the main roads leading towards the archaeological site.
