Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Pompeii Archaeological Park entrance (Porta Marina), exit the park and turn left onto Via Villa dei Misteri. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via dell'Abbondanza. Turn right onto Via dell'Abbondanza and continue walking. You will pass several ruins and shops along the way. After approximately 10 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Via di Ifigenia. Turn left onto Via di Ifigenia and walk down this street. The Schola Armaturarum is located at the end of this street on your right.

    If you are starting from the Forum area, head towards the Temple of Apollo. From there, walk towards the Basilica. After passing the Basilica, continue straight until you reach Via dell'Abbondanza. Turn left onto Via dell'Abbondanza and walk for about 5 minutes. Once you reach the intersection with Via di Ifigenia, turn right. Continue walking on Via di Ifigenia until you find the Schola Armaturarum on your right.

    If you are at the Villa of the Mysteries (Villa dei Misteri), exit the villa and head towards Via del Mare. Walk straight until you reach the main entrance of the Pompeii Archaeological Park. From there, follow the directions from the main entrance, which will take you through Via Villa dei Misteri to Via dell'Abbondanza. Once on Via dell'Abbondanza, turn right and continue until you reach Via di Ifigenia, where you will turn left. The Schola Armaturarum will be on your right as you approach the end of the street.
