Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards Bologna from your location in Romagna. Use the A14 motorway and follow the signs to Bologna. Once you reach Bologna, take the exit towards the city center (Centro) and follow the signs for Piazza Galvani. There may be parking available nearby, but be aware that it can be limited. Consider using public parking facilities such as Parcheggio Piazza 8 Agosto or Parcheggio Riva Reno.

• Train

  For those using public transportation, take a train from your nearest railway station in Romagna to Bologna Centrale. The journey typically takes about 30 to 60 minutes depending on your starting point. Upon arrival at Bologna Centrale, exit the train station and head to the bus terminal located outside the station. You can take a local bus or walk; it’s approximately a 15-minute walk to Piazza Galvani where Teatro Anatomico is located. If you prefer to walk, head straight along Via dell'Indipendenza until you reach the square.

• Bus

  If you're already in Bologna, you can take a local bus to Piazza Galvani. Check the local bus service (Tper) for routes 11, 21, or 30 which will take you close to the square. The fare for a single journey is approximately €1.50. Once you arrive at Piazza Galvani, you will find Teatro Anatomico situated at the edge of the square. Make sure to validate your ticket before boarding.

• Walking

  If you are already in the Bologna area, walking to Teatro Anatomico can be a pleasant option. From the central area, head towards Via dell'Indipendenza and continue straight until you reach Piazza Galvani. The Teatro Anatomico is located at Piazza Galvani, 1, and is easily identifiable by its historic architecture.
