From Siena, head to the Siena bus station located at Piazza della Libertà. Look for the bus line that goes to Lucignano; it's usually marked on the departure boards. Purchase your ticket from the ticket counter or a ticket machine. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride through the Tuscan countryside. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Get off at the Lucignano bus stop. From there, the Santuario della Madonna della Querce is about a 15-minute walk. Head southwest on Via Roma, then turn left onto Via della Madonna della Querce, and you will arrive at the sanctuary.

Start by walking to the Siena train station, which is located about a 20-minute walk from the city center. Alternatively, you can take a local bus to the train station. Once at the station, take a train to Arezzo. The train ride will take about 1 hour. Upon arriving at Arezzo, exit the train station and look for the bus terminal. Take a bus heading towards Lucignano. The bus ride should take around 30 minutes. Get off at the Lucignano stop, and from there, the Santuario della Madonna della Querce is about a 15-minute walk. Follow the directions as previously mentioned to reach the sanctuary.
