Walking
If you are starting from Piazza Unità d'Italia, head southeast towards the waterfront on Riva Tre Novembre. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach the end of the promenade. From there, turn right onto Via del Teatro Romano. Follow this road as it curves and becomes Via della Cattedrale. Continue straight until you see the signs for Castello di San Giusto. The castle entrance will be on your right.

Public Transport - Bus
From the central bus station (Trieste Autostazione), take bus line 20 towards 'Piazza Goldoni'. Get off at the stop 'Piazza Goldoni'. From there, transfer to bus line 36 towards 'San Giusto'. Get off at the stop 'Castello di San Giusto'. The castle will be a short walk from the bus stop; follow the signs for the entrance.

Walking from the Train Station
If you are arriving at Trieste Centrale train station, exit the station and head towards Via della Libertà. Continue straight until you reach Piazza della Libertà. From there, head towards Via Giuseppe Garibaldi. Continue straight, and as you reach the end of the street, turn left onto Via della Cattedrale. Follow the road until you see the entrance to Castello di San Giusto on your right.
