Getting There

  • Bus

    From the city center of Trieste, head to the main bus station, Trieste Centrale. Take bus line 36 towards 'Opicina' and get off at the stop 'Faro della Vittoria'. It takes about 30 minutes. From the bus stop, walk a few minutes towards the lighthouse following the signs. The lighthouse is located at Str. del Friuli, 141.

    If you are near the waterfront at Molo Audace, you can walk to Victory Lighthouse. Head northwest along the waterfront promenade (Lungomare) until you reach the area of Barcola. Continue past the beach and follow the path up the hill towards the lighthouse. It is a scenic route and will take about 40 minutes to reach the lighthouse.

    Rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in the city center. Take the route along the coast, following Lungomare until you reach Barcola. From there, head uphill towards Str. del Friuli. The ride to the lighthouse will take approximately 25 minutes, offering beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea.
