Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Piazza San Marco, head east towards the water. Continue straight along the Calle Larga XXII Marzo until you reach the Grand Canal. Turn right onto the Rio de San Moisè and cross the bridge. Once across, continue straight along the Calle dei Fabbri. After a few minutes, you will reach Campo San Bartolomeo, a lively square. From there, head north along the Calle del Mondo Novo until you reach the Campo della Maddalena, which is about a 10-minute walk.

    From the Rialto Bridge, walk south along the Mercato di Rialto. Follow the street as it curves left into Campo San Giovanni e Paolo. Continue further along the Calle della Madonna until you reach the intersection with Calle Larga. Turn right and walk straight until you find Campo de la Maddalena on your left. This route will take approximately 15 minutes.

  • Vaporetto (Water Bus)

    If you are near a Vaporetto stop, take Line 1 or Line 2 towards San Marco. Get off at the 'San Toma' stop. Once you disembark, head north along the Calle delle Botteghe until you reach the Grand Canal. Turn left and walk until you reach the 'Ponte di San Toma' (San Toma Bridge). Cross the bridge and continue straight along the Calle de la Madonna. You will find Campo de la Maddalena on your right after a short walk of about 5 minutes.
