Getting There

• Vaporetto (Water Bus)

  To get to Fondamenta Canal Vena in Chioggia from Venice, start at the nearest Vaporetto stop. If you are near the San Marco area, go to the 'San Zaccaria' Vaporetto stop. Take the Vaporetto Line 14 towards Chioggia. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Chioggia Vaporetto stop, disembark and head towards the main street, Corso del Popolo. Walk straight for a few minutes until you reach the intersection with Via Canal Vena. Turn left, and you will find Fondamenta Canal Vena along the canal.

• Train

  If you are near the Santa Lucia Train Station in Venice, take a train to Chioggia. First, purchase a ticket at the station. Board a train heading towards Rovigo or Adria, as these often stop at Chioggia. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Chioggia train station, exit and head towards the main street, Corso del Popolo. Walk down this road until you reach Via Canal Vena. Take a left, and you will see Fondamenta Canal Vena along the canal.

• Walking

  If you are already in Chioggia, locate Corso del Popolo, which is the main street. From there, walk towards the canal. When you reach the intersection of Corso del Popolo and Via Canal Vena, turn left. Fondamenta Canal Vena will be along your left side as you walk down the street. It is a lovely area to enjoy the views of the canal.
