If you are starting from Piazza San Marco, head south towards the water. Exit the square and turn left onto the Riva degli Schiavoni. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach the Ponte di Rialto. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle dei Fabbri. Turn right and follow it until you reach Campo San Samuele. Palazzo Malipiero will be on your left.

If you are near a Vaporetto stop, take Line 1 towards 'San Marco'. Get off at the 'San Marco - Vallaresso' stop. From there, walk towards the waterfront and turn right onto the Riva degli Schiavoni.
