    Getting There

    Walking

    If you are near the Rialto Bridge, start at the bridge and head southeast towards the Riva del Ferro. Walk straight along the Grand Canal until you reach the intersection with the Calle Larga XXII Marzo. Turn left onto Calle Larga XXII Marzo and continue straight. This street will lead you directly to Piazza San Marco, where you will find the iconic Basilica di San Marco and the Campanile.

    Vaporetto (Water Bus)

    If you are currently at the Santa Lucia Train Station, walk to the nearby Vaporetto stop called 'Ferrovia.' Board the Vaporetto line 1 towards 'San Marco.' After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'San Marco Vallaresso' stop. Once you disembark, follow the signs towards Piazza San Marco, which is a short 5-minute walk from the Vaporetto stop.

    Walking

    From the Gallerie dell'Accademia, head east towards the Grand Canal. Cross the Accademia Bridge and turn right onto the Grand Canal. Walk along the canal until you reach the Santa Maria del Giglio Church, then turn left onto the Calle de la Carità. Continue straight until you reach the Piazza San Marco, which will be on your left.

    If you are near the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, exit the museum and head south towards the Grand Canal. Turn left and walk along the canal until you reach the 'Salute' Vaporetto stop. From there, take the Vaporetto line 1 towards 'San Marco.' After a short ride, get off at 'San Marco Vallaresso' and follow the signs to Piazza San Marco.
