Look for Strada Nova, a major street that runs parallel to the canal. Walk along Strada Nova until you reach Campo Santa Sofia, a small square. From Campo Santa Sofia, turn left onto Calle de le Chiovere, which will lead you directly to Fondamenta Cannaregio.

If you are further away in Venice, you can take a Vaporetto to get closer to Cannaregio. Board the Vaporetto Line 1 or Line 2 at any major stop along the Grand Canal (e.g., Rialto or San Marco).
