    Getting There

    Walking

If you are already in Cannaregio, the best way to reach Fondamenta Cannaregio is by walking. Start at the main canal, the Canal Grande, and head north. Look for Strada Nova, a major street that runs parallel to the canal. Walk along Strada Nova until you reach Campo Santa Sofia, a small square. From Campo Santa Sofia, turn left onto Calle de le Chiovere, which will lead you directly to Fondamenta Cannaregio.

    Vaporetto (Water Bus)

If you are further away in Venice, you can take a Vaporetto to get closer to Cannaregio. Board the Vaporetto Line 1 or Line 2 at any major stop along the Grand Canal (e.g., Rialto or San Marco).
