If you are near Verona's Piazza Bra, start at the iconic Arena di Verona. From there, exit the piazza and head northeast on Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Corso Porta Nuova, then turn right. Walk along Corso Porta Nuova until you reach the junction with Via Garibaldi, where you will turn left. Continue straight until you reach Piazza delle Erbe, a vibrant market square. From there, head southwest towards Via Sottoriva, and follow it until you see the river Adige. Cross the Ponte della Vittoria bridge, and once across, turn left to follow the riverbank. After about a 10-minute walk, you will see the entrance to Arsenale Franz Josef I located at Piazza Arsenale, 11.
