Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Verona Porta Nuova train station, exit the station and turn left onto Viale del Lavoro. Continue walking straight until you reach Piazza Bra, which is approximately a 20-minute walk (1.5 km). As you approach Piazza Bra, you will see the large open square with the impressive Arena di Verona on your left. Palazzo della Gran Guardia is located on the eastern side of the square, directly across from the Arena.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    From the Verona Porta Nuova train station, you can take bus line 21 or 22. Board the bus from the stop right outside the station. Ride for approximately 10 minutes and disembark at the 'Piazza Bra' stop. Once you get off, you will see the Arena di Verona in front of you. Palazzo della Gran Guardia is located directly behind the Arena, so just walk towards the building.

  • Walking from the City Center

    If you are already in the city center, head towards Via Mazzini, a famous shopping street. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Bra. As you enter the square, you will see the Arena di Verona on your left. Palazzo della Gran Guardia is located on the eastern edge of the square, adjacent to the Arena.
