Travel Guide to Terrazza Panoramica

Getting There

• Bus

  From the center of Verona, head to the nearest bus stop, which is likely to be at Piazza Bra. Take Bus Line 163 towards San Giorgio di Valpolicella. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'San Giorgio' stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 10 minutes to reach Terrazza Panoramica. Head northeast on Via Roma, then turn left onto Via San Giorgio. Continue straight until you reach the signs directing you to Terrazza Panoramica.

• Train and Bus

  From Verona Porta Nuova train station, take the train to San Pietro in Cariano. The trip takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at San Pietro in Cariano station, exit and look for the bus stop nearby. Catch Bus Line 163 towards San Giorgio di Valpolicella. After about 10 minutes, disembark at the 'San Giorgio' stop. From there, walk approximately 10 minutes northeast along Via Roma, then turn left onto Via San Giorgio until you find Terrazza Panoramica.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to enjoy the scenery, you can walk from the center of Verona to Terrazza Panoramica. Start at Piazza Bra and head towards Via Mazzini, then continue onto Via Cavour and follow it until you reach the river. Cross the river via the Ponte Pietra bridge. After crossing, follow the signs towards San Giorgio di Valpolicella. The walk is about 8 km and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to have a map or GPS on hand to help guide you.
