Getting There

  • Bus

    From Port Antonio, walk to the main bus station located on East Street. Look for a bus heading to Buff Bay. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Buff Bay. Once you arrive in Buff Bay, you will be about a 10-minute walk from Charles Town Museum and Asafu Yard.

    After getting off the bus in Buff Bay, head towards the main road (A4). Walk east along the A4 for about 0.5 miles (800 meters). You will pass a few local shops and houses along the way. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Charles Town. After you reach the intersection with the road leading to Charles Town, turn left and follow this road for about 1 mile (1.6 kilometers). The museum will be located on your right.
