Bus
From the center of Port Antonio, walk to the bus terminal located on West Street. Look for a bus heading towards Buff Bay. The fare is usually around $200 JMD. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Buff Bay, disembark at the main bus stop. The Charles Town Museum and Asafu Yard is a short walk from the bus stop. Head north on the main road (A4) for about 10 minutes until you reach 686H+Q85 P.O on your left.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Port Antonio to Buff Bay. You can find taxis at various locations around the town, especially near the bus terminal or market area. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting the trip; it should be around $2,000 JMD. The ride will take about 20-25 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Charles Town Museum and Asafu Yard, located at 686H+Q85 P.O.
Walking
If you are staying in a nearby area, you can walk to the Charles Town Museum and Asafu Yard. From Port Antonio, head east along the coast, following the A4 road. It's about a 4 km walk, which should take you roughly an hour. Enjoy the scenic views along the way. Upon reaching Buff Bay, continue along the main road until you find the museum at 686H+Q85 P.O.
