Walking
Start from the Portmore Mall. Exit the mall and head south towards the main road, which is the Portmore Boulevard. Walk along Portmore Boulevard for approximately 1 km until you reach the intersection with Hellshire Road. Turn left onto Hellshire Road and continue walking for about 4 km. You will pass by several local shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Hellshire Beach. When you reach the intersection at the end of Hellshire Road, turn right onto Sand Drive. Waves Beach will be located on your left at 190 Sand Drive. The beach entrance is well marked, and you should see other visitors heading in.

From the Portmore Mall, walk to the nearby bus stop located on Portmore Boulevard. Take a bus heading towards Hellshire. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Hellshire Beach stop. The bus will drop you off at the main road. From there, walk along Hellshire Road for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Sand Drive. Turn left onto Sand Drive, and Waves Beach will be located about 500 meters down on your left at 190 Sand Drive.
