Walking
From the center of Runaway Bay, head east towards the main road (A1). Walk along the A1 road, keeping an eye out for signs directing you to Priory. Continue walking for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the turn-off for Priory. Once you reach the Priory area, follow the signposts leading to the beach. The Alterry Beach is located at CQVH+XJH, Priory. The beach is a short walk from the main road, and you should be able to see the entrance marked by local signage.

Public Transport
From Runaway Bay, find a local bus or minibus heading towards Ocho Rios. Board the bus and inform the driver that you are going to Priory. The fare is usually very affordable. After about a 10-15 minute ride, ask the driver to let you off at the closest stop to Priory. Once you disembark, walk towards CQVH+XJH, Priory, which is where The Alterry Beach is located. It should be a short walk from the bus stop.

If you are feeling adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Runaway Bay. Head towards the A1 road and cycle east towards Priory. The ride takes about 30 minutes, depending on your pace.
