Walking
If you are in the Hakata area, a pleasant walk to Hakata Port Tower is recommended. Start at Hakata Station, exit the station using the Chikushiguchi (筑紫口) exit. From there, walk straight along the riverfront. You will pass the beautiful Naka River. Continue walking for about 20 minutes; you will see the Hakata Port Tower ahead on your left. The address is 〒812-0021 Fukuoka, Hakata Ward, Chikkohonmachi, １４−1. The walk is about 1.6 kilometers and offers lovely views along the way.

Public Transport - Bus
From Hakata Station, take the Nishitetsu Bus No. 24 or No. 25 towards 'Hakata Port.' The bus stop is located on the Chikushiguchi exit side of the station. It takes about 10 minutes to reach Hakata Port Tower. Be sure to check the bus schedule as it may vary, and the fare is approximately 210 yen. Get off at the 'Hakata Port' bus stop, and the tower will be a short walk from there.

Take the Kuko Line (Airport Line) from Hakata Station towards Fukuoka Airport. Get off at the next stop, Nakasu-Kawabata Station. Transfer to the Hakozaki Line and ride it to Gion Station. Exit the station and walk towards the river; Hakata Port Tower is about a 15-minute walk from Gion Station. The total travel time is approximately 25 minutes, and the fare for the subway is around 260 yen.
