Opened in 1952, the park has undergone renovations, completed in the spring of 2025, to enhance its appeal as a leisure destination.The park is divided into three main areas: the south area near Canal City Hakata, the bridge area, and the north area facing the Naka River. The recent renovations include a wing-shaped building integrated with the plaza, designed to be a new landmark for Fukuoka. A key highlight is the permanent water and light show around Haruyoshi Bridge, creating a fantastical atmosphere and enhancing the nighttime experience.Visitors can enjoy a variety of scenery, with evergreen trees and seasonal flowers adding to the park's charm.     Subway

    From Hakata Station, take the Kuko Line (Airport Line) to Nakasu-Kawabata Station. The ride is approximately 4 minutes and costs ¥200-¥230. Take Exit 2, turn right, and walk straight for about 5 minutes to reach Seiryu Park.

    Take a Nishitetsu bus heading towards Hakata and get off at Nakasu Bus Stop. From there, walk towards the river, and Seiryu Park is a short walk away. Bus fares within Fukuoka city start from ¥100.
