Hakone, majestic moment waiting!

Great experience

This tour was great! We met our guide Yoshi at the Gora station and he went over the itinerary with us. He gave us facts about the station and Hakone as a whole. When we moved to our first stop, he gave us the information of the hillside and helped us position ourselves for amazing photos of Mt Fuji. He was very knowledgeable and very personable. Our next stop took us to a pirate ship on the lake and he watched our bags while we went up to the top deck to get as many videos and photos as we wanted. After we docked, we went to the Hakone Checkpoint and learned about the areas history. From there we had lunch in a Japanese Udon location which was awesome. After lunch he took us to a flower garden that only blooms in May so we were able to catch it in full swing. The final stop was to the Hakone Shrine for more history and photo ops before heading back to Gora station. Definitely an amazing time and Yoshi was an amazing guide!

Kumiko was such a wonderful guide! She was very knowledgeable in showing me around the area. She met me in my hotel lobby and we took the trains together to Hakone. We saw the Open Air museum and did the Hakone Ropeway up to Owakudani valley. Even got several beautiful views of Mt Fuji. She graciously helped me get checked in at my ryokan as well.
