Bus
From Kanazawa Station, take the Nohi Bus bound for Shirakawa-go. The trip takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Shirakawa-go bus terminal, exit the terminal and walk towards the Ogimachi area. Hachiman Shrine is located about a 10-minute walk from the bus terminal. Follow the signs leading to Ogimachi village, and you will find the shrine nestled among the traditional thatched-roof houses.
Train and Bus
Take the JR Hokuriku Line from Kanazawa Station to Takayama Station (about 2 hours). Then, transfer to the Nohi Bus bound for Shirakawa-go. The bus ride from Takayama to Shirakawa-go takes about 50 minutes. Once you reach the Shirakawa-go bus terminal, walk toward Ogimachi village for about 10 minutes to reach Hachiman Shrine.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Kanazawa to Shirakawa-go. The drive will take roughly 1 hour and costs around 10,000 to 15,000 yen. Inform the driver that you want to go to Hachiman Shrine in Ogimachi, and they will drop you off near the entrance.
