From Kanazawa Station, head towards the East Exit and walk straight on the main road (Higashiyama-dori). Continue until you reach the Kanazawa City Hall area. Shofukaku Garden is located near the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art and the D.T. Suzuki Museum.

Public Transport
From Kanazawa Station, take the Hokutetsu Bus (Bus Number 8) towards 'Higashiyama'. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Hondamachi' stop. Walk back towards the previous intersection and turn left. Continue walking for about 2 minutes, and you will find Shofukaku Garden on your left. The fare for the bus is ¥210.

Taxis are readily available from Kanazawa Station. Exit from the East Exit, where you'll find a taxi stand. Inform the driver you want to go to Shofukaku Garden (Shofukaku Teien) located at 3 Chome-2-1 Hondamachi. The taxi fare from Kanazawa Station to the garden is estimated to be under ¥1000.
