Walking
Starting from Osu Kannon Temple, exit the temple grounds and head east on Osu 3-chome Street. Walk straight for about 500 meters, passing various shops and eateries. When you reach the intersection with the main road, turn right. Continue walking for about 200 meters until you see a small street on your left with a sign for Banshoji. Turn left onto this street, and Banshoji will be on your right at 3 Chome-29-12 Osu. The temple should be visible from the street.

From Osu Kannon, walk to the nearest subway station, Osu Kannon Station (about a 5-minute walk). Take the Tsurumai Line towards Kami Otai. Ride for one stop and get off at Fushimi Station. Transfer to the Higashiyama Line and head towards Takabata. After three stops, get off at Sakae Station. From Sakae Station, it’s a 10-minute walk to Banshoji. Head east on Nishiki-dori Street until you reach Osu 3-chome Street, then turn left and follow the walking directions provided above.
