If you're driving from central Nara, take Route 24 heading east. Follow the signs towards Ikaruga. After approximately 20 minutes, you will see signs for Horyu-ji. Turn left onto Horyuji Sannai road, where you will find parking available near the temple. Note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around 500 yen.

Public Transportation
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Yamato-Saidaiji. Change at Yamato-Saidaiji Station and board the Kintetsu Osaka Line towards Nara. Get off at Horyuji Station (approximately a 30-minute journey). From Horyuji Station, it is about a 15-minute walk to Horyu-ji Temple. Follow the signs towards Horyu-ji, which is well-marked. There is no additional cost for the walk, but the train fare will be around 600 yen.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from central Nara. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes, and the fare will typically range from 3,000 to 4,000 yen, depending on traffic.
