Getting There

Public Bus
If you are starting from Naha Bus Terminal, take the bus number 1 or 2 heading towards Shuri. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Shurijo Koen Mae' stop. From there, walk straight past the entrance of Shurijo Castle Park, continuing along the road until you reach the intersection. The Shuri Kinjo Big Akagi Tree is located just a short walk from the intersection, in a small park area to your left. It should take around 10 minutes to walk.

Monorail
Start at Naha Airport and take the Yui Rail monorail towards Shuri Station. The ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Shuri Station, exit the station and head south on the main road. Follow the road downhill for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection near Shurijo Castle Park. The Shuri Kinjo Big Akagi Tree will be on your left in a small park area.
