Public Transport
The Glico Sign is easily accessible via public transport. From Osaka Station, take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line to Namba Station (approximately 12 minutes, ¥240). Exit Namba Station via 'Exit 14' and walk towards Dotonbori (approximately 5 minutes). The Glico Sign will be on your right, along the Dotonbori Canal.
Walking
If you are already in the Dotonbori area, the Glico Sign is easily reachable by foot. Simply walk along the Dotonbori Canal towards the Ebisubashi Bridge. The sign is located above the bridge on the south bank of the canal, and is hard to miss.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Osaka. A short taxi ride from Shin-Osaka Station to the Dotonbori Glico Sign will cost approximately ¥2,680. Note that fares increase by 20% for nighttime journeys between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM. There are taxi stands near major train stations.
Car
If driving, take the Hanshin Expressway and exit at the Namba exit (¥1,000 toll). Follow signs to Dotonbori. Parking is available in nearby parking lots, with costs typically around ¥300 to ¥600 per hour. Be aware that parking can be limited, especially during peak hours.
