Getting There

  • Train

    From Osaka Station, take the JR Yamatoji Line towards Nara Station. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Nara Station, exit the station and head towards the main road (National Route 369). Turn left and walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach Kofuku-ji Gojunoto, located at 48 Noboriojicho.

  • Bus

    From Osaka, you can take the Kintetsu Bus from Osaka Uehommachi Station to Nara. The bus ride will take about 60 minutes. Upon arriving at Nara bus terminal, follow the signs to the East Exit. From there, walk straight for about 10 minutes, and you will see Kofuku-ji Gojunoto at 48 Noboriojicho on your right.

  • Subway and Train

    Take the Osaka Metro Chuo Line from any central Osaka station (like Shinsaibashi or Honmachi) to Nagahoribashi Station. Transfer to the Kintetsu Nara Line at Kintetsu Namba Station and take the train to Nara Station. This journey takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once at Nara Station, exit and walk as described above towards Kofuku-ji Gojunoto.
