Housed in a set of five 19th-century warehouses, the museum features interactive displays, artifacts, and model ships that bring the island's seafaring history to life. Visitors can delve into the island's shipbuilding traditions, learn about navigation, and explore exhibits detailing Jersey's connection to piracy and famous sea battles. The museum also highlights the island's fishing industry and its vital role in shaping Jersey's culture and economy. A major highlight is the Occupation Tapestry Gallery, displaying 13 colorful panels depicting life in Jersey during the German occupation (1940-1945). Woven by islanders to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Jersey's liberation, the tapestry serves as a powerful reminder of the resilience and community spirit during challenging times. Each panel has an interactive screen in front of it. The museum also features first-hand accounts from people who lived through the German Occupation.
