Start at the main beach area of Portelet Bay, and head east along the coastal path. Follow the path as it curves around the bay, keeping the sea on your left. Continue along this path for approximately 20-30 minutes until you reach the base of Seymour Tower. Be sure to check the tide times, as access to the tower can be affected by high water.
Car
If you are driving, head towards St. Brelade's Bay from Portelet Bay. From St. Brelade's Bay, take La Route de la Corbière and follow the signs towards Corbière Lighthouse. Continue along this road until you reach the parking area near the coast. There is a small parking lot available, but be aware that a parking fee may be incurred, typically around £1-£2 per hour. From the parking area, follow the coastal path towards Seymour Tower, which is about a 20-minute walk. Be mindful of the tides when planning your visit.
Public Transportation
To reach Seymour Tower using public transportation, take the bus from the nearest bus stop in Portelet Bay. Look for the bus number 12 or 15 that heads towards St. Brelade's Bay. The bus ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Disembark at the stop nearest to St. Brelade's Bay. From there, you can either walk along the coastal path towards Seymour Tower, which will take about 30 minutes, or take a taxi from the bus stop to the tower for a more direct route. Taxi fares may vary, so it's advisable to check in advance.
