Getting There

• Walking

  Begin your journey at the Aqaba Marina, a popular spot where you can enjoy views of the Red Sea. From the marina, head east towards the main road, Al-Hussein Bin Ali Street. This street is lined with shops and cafes, so it’s a great place to stop for a snack if you wish. Continue walking along Al-Hussein Bin Ali Street until you reach the intersection with Al-Rashid Street. Turn left onto Al-Rashid Street and continue straight until you see the signs for Ayla. The Ayla Fountain is located in the Ayla area, which is a residential and tourist development. Use a map application on your phone if necessary, and follow the directions to the coordinates GXWQ+PMP, which will lead you directly to the fountain.

  If you are starting from the Aqaba Archaeological Museum, exit the museum and head south towards the waterfront. Walk along the coast until you reach Al-Hussein Bin Ali Street. Continue walking straight, and look for signs directing you to Ayla. The fountain will be located at the coordinates GXWQ+PMP in the Ayla district.

  From the Aqaba city center, take a local bus or shared taxi (service taxi) heading towards the Ayla area. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Ayla Fountain.
