From the central bus station in Jerusalem, exit the station and head to the right towards Jaffa Road. Walk along Jaffa Road until you reach the intersection with King George Street. Turn left onto King George Street and continue straight. You will eventually see signs directing you to the Old City. As you approach the Old City, follow the signs for Jaffa Gate. It’s approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus station to Jaffa Gate.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or using a rideshare app. From the central bus station, you can easily find taxis waiting outside. Just tell the driver you want to go to Jaffa Gate. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on a fare or confirm the meter is running before starting your journey.
