Bus
From your accommodation in the Dead Sea area, make your way to the nearest bus stop. Look for buses heading towards Jerusalem. You might find the 'Jordan Valley' bus station in Ein Bokek or another nearby location. Purchase a ticket to Jerusalem from the bus driver or at the ticket booth. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which takes approximately 1.5 hours. Upon arriving at the Jerusalem central bus station, exit the bus and follow the signs towards the light rail station.
Light Rail
From the central bus station in Jerusalem, head to the light rail station located nearby. Purchase a ticket and board the light rail heading towards 'Mount Herzl'. Get off at the 'City Hall' station. After exiting the tram, you will need to walk towards the Old City. Follow the signs to the Jaffa Gate, which is a well-known entrance to the Old City.
Walking
After entering through the Jaffa Gate, proceed straight along the main path, which will take you through the bustling streets of the Old City. Keep walking until you reach the Western Wall. From there, follow the signs for the Temple Mount. The entrance is located near the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Be sure to check the opening hours and security protocols before your visit, as access may vary.
