If you are in downtown Hutchinson, start at the Reno County Courthouse located at 206 W 1st Ave. Head south on Main St towards E 2nd Ave. Turn left onto E 2nd Ave and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will come to the intersection with N Walnut St. Continue straight onto E 4th Ave and then take a right onto N Severance St. Follow N Severance St until you reach the entrance of the Hutchinson Zoo at 6 Emerson Loop.

The closest stop is typically at Main St & E 4th Ave. From there, walk east on E 4th Ave, then turn left onto N Severance St, and walk straight to the zoo entrance located at 6 Emerson Loop.

If you have a bike, start from the Hutchinson Public Library at 901 N Main St. Head north on Main St for about 0.3 miles, then turn right onto E 6th Ave. Continue on E 6th Ave until you reach N Severance St. Turn left on N Severance St and follow it until you reach the zoo entrance at 6 Emerson Loop. The route is mostly flat and bike-friendly.
