If you're starting from downtown Kansas City, head to the nearest bus stop. You can catch the KC Streetcar at any of the streetcar stops along Main Street. Board the streetcar heading north towards the River Market. Ride until you reach the 3rd & Grand stop. From there, transfer to the Metro bus route 12 (from the nearby bus stop). Board the bus heading towards 'West 29th & Broadway.' This bus will take you directly to the intersection of West 29th Street and Broadway Boulevard, which is the entrance to Penn Valley Park. The park will be right across the street.
