If you are starting from Union Station, you can take the bus route 55. Board the bus at the Union Station stop and ride it towards 9th Street. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 9th and State stop. From there, walk east along 9th Avenue for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Historical 9th Ave District, known for its charming streets and vintage restored buildings.

Public Transit - Streetcar
From the Power and Light District, you can catch the Kansas City Streetcar at the Main Street stop. Ride the streetcar northbound for 5 stops until you reach the 10th Street stop. From there, walk west along 10th Street for about 2 blocks, then turn left onto 9th Avenue. The Historical 9th Ave District will be on your right after a short walk.

If you are near City Market, you can walk to the Historical 9th Ave District. Head southwest on Walnut Street until you reach 5th Street. Turn left on 5th Street and continue until you reach Central Street. Turn right on Central Street and follow it to 9th Avenue. Turn left on 9th Avenue and in about 10 minutes, you will arrive at the Historical 9th Ave District.
