From the center of Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area, head southeast on US-27 S. Continue for approximately 15 miles until you reach the intersection with TN-154 E. Turn left onto TN-154 E and follow the road for about 4 miles. You will see signs for Needle Point Arch. Turn right onto the dirt road, which leads to the parking area for the arch. Be aware that the road may be unpaved and could require a vehicle with good clearance.

If you're starting from the Slave Falls trailhead, follow the Slave Falls Trail for about 2.5 miles. This trail offers scenic views and will eventually lead you to Needle Point Arch.
