Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Newport Aquarium, exit the aquarium and head west on E 3rd St toward Washington Ave. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with E 4th St. Turn left onto E 4th St and walk for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Riverboat Row. Turn right and follow Riverboat Row along the Ohio River, enjoying views of the river and Cincinnati skyline. Continue straight until you see the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge on your left.

    From Newport's main shopping area at Newport on the Levee, exit the complex and head southeast toward the riverfront. Follow the path along the waterfront, keeping the Ohio River on your left. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the bridge. The John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge will be visible ahead, and you can enter the bridge area from the Newport side.
