From your location in Chyulu Hills National Park, head towards the main entrance road. Drive south on the C103 road, which connects to the A104 highway towards Amboseli. Continue for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach a junction. Take a right at the junction towards Kimana. Follow the signs and continue for about 10 kilometers until you arrive at Kimana. Ensure you have enough fuel, as fuel stations can be sparse in this region.

To reach Kimana via public transport, you will first need to get to the nearest major town, which is Oloitokitok. From various locations in Chyulu Hills National Park, take a matatu (shared taxi) or a bus heading to Oloitokitok. The fare is generally around 200-300 KES. Once in Oloitokitok, look for a matatu heading towards Kimana. The fare for this leg is typically around 100 KES. The journey should take about an hour total, depending on the waiting time for transport.

For the more adventurous, cycling from Chyulu Hills to Kimana is a viable option. Begin by heading to the main entrance road and follow the C103 road south. It is approximately a 35-kilometer journey, so ensure you are well-prepared with water and snacks.
