Bicycle
If you're in Diani Beach and feeling adventurous, renting a bicycle is a great way to reach Kaya Kinondo Nature Activities. Start at the Diani Beach shopping center. Head south on the Diani Beach Road towards Ukunda. Continue riding until you reach the junction with the Ukunda - Diani Beach Road. Turn left at the junction. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers until you see signs for Kaya Kinondo on your right. The entrance to Kaya Kinondo Nature Activities will be a short distance from the main road.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, you can take a leisurely stroll to Kaya Kinondo Nature Activities. Begin your walk from any hotel along Diani Beach and head towards the Diani Beach Road. Once on the road, walk south towards Ukunda. After about 30-40 minutes of walking, you will reach the junction with the Ukunda - Diani Beach Road. Cross to the left side and continue walking until you see signs directing you to Kaya Kinondo on your right. It’s approximately a 1.5 to 2-hour walk from Diani Beach.
Matatu (Local Minibus)
To reach Kaya Kinondo Nature Activities via public transport, take a matatu (local minibus) from Diani Beach. Head to the matatu stage near the Diani Beach Shopping Center. Board a matatu heading towards Ukunda. The fare is usually inexpensive, around 50-100 KES. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Kaya Kinondo. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you disembark, follow the signs to Kaya Kinondo, which is just a short walk away.
Tuk-Tuk
For a more comfortable ride, you can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Diani Beach. Simply find one at a nearby taxi stand or request one through your hotel. Tell the driver you want to go to Kaya Kinondo Nature Activities. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic, and you can expect to pay around 300-500 KES for the trip. The tuk-tuk will drop you off at the entrance to the nature activities.
