Getting There

Bicycle
To reach Dunga Beach by bicycle, start from the Kisumu Central Business District. Head east on Oginga Odinga Street until you reach the intersection with Kisumu-Kakamega Road. Turn left onto Kisumu-Kakamega Road and continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for the signs directing you to Dunga Beach as you approach the lakeshore. Turn right onto Dunga Road and follow it until you see the entrance to Dunga Beach on your left.

Matatu
To get to Dunga Beach using a matatu (shared taxi), go to the Kisumu Bus Station and find a matatu heading towards Nyalenda or Dunga. Board the matatu and inform the driver you are going to Dunga Beach. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the Dunga Beach stop, which is well marked. From there, walk towards the lake, and you will see the entrance to Dunga Beach.

If you are walking from Kisumu Central, start at the central market and head east on Oginga Odinga Street. Continue straight until you reach Kisumu-Kakamega Road. Cross the road and proceed straight until you see Dunga Road on your right. Turn onto Dunga Road and keep walking; you will reach Dunga Beach in about 30 minutes. Look out for the signs leading to the beach as you approach.
