Look for signs directing you to Mombasa Beach and Nyali. You will turn right onto the road leading to Mombasa Nyali Beach. Follow the road until you reach Makert, which is located directly on the beach. There is ample parking available nearby, but check for any potential parking fees.

Public Transportation (Matatu)

To reach Makert by matatu, find a matatu heading towards Nyali from Mombasa city center. Board the matatu at the designated matatu stage. The fare is typically around 50-100 KES depending on your starting point. Once you arrive in Nyali, get off at the stop closest to Mombasa Beach. From there, you can either walk along the beach or catch a tuk-tuk for a short ride directly to Makert. Make sure to confirm with the tuk-tuk driver that they know the location, which is known as Mombasa Nyali Beach.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct option, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Mombasa Beach. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Makert at Mombasa Nyali Beach. The fare may vary depending on your starting point, but expect to pay around 300-500 KES for a short ride.
