If you are starting from Mombasa Railway Station, exit the station and head towards Moi Avenue. Turn right onto Moi Avenue and walk straight until you reach the junction with Nkrumah Road. Turn left onto Nkrumah Road. Continue straight, passing by the Old Port on your right. Once you reach the roundabout, take the first exit onto Mama Ngina Drive. Walk along Mama Ngina Drive, and you will see the entrance to Mama Ngina Waterfront on your left. The walk is approximately 20-25 minutes.
Bicycle
From the city center, rent a bicycle and head towards Moi Avenue. Ride straight down Moi Avenue until you reach the junction with Nkrumah Road. Make a left onto Nkrumah Road. Pedal along Nkrumah Road, passing the Old Port, until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Mama Ngina Drive. Follow Mama Ngina Drive, and you will find Mama Ngina Waterfront on your left. This route takes around 15-20 minutes by bicycle.
Matatu (Public Minibus)
To reach Mama Ngina Waterfront by matatu, find a matatu heading towards the Mombasa CBD. Board the matatu at a designated stop and get off at the 'Kongowea' stop. From there, walk towards Moi Avenue and turn left. Continue to the junction with Nkrumah Road and turn left again. Walk straight, passing by the Old Port until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Mama Ngina Drive and walk a short distance to the entrance of Mama Ngina Waterfront on your left. The entire journey via matatu and walking should take about 30-40 minutes.
