From the center of Naivasha town, head towards Moi South Lake Road. This can be done by walking south along any main road until you reach the junction with Moi South Lake Road. Once you reach the junction, turn left onto Moi South Lake Road and continue walking for approximately 5 kilometers. As you walk, you will pass by several local shops and eateries, which can be good stopping points for refreshments.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Naivasha town. Start your journey by heading south towards Moi South Lake Road. Cycle along Moi South Lake Road, which is quite scenic and has light traffic. After about 5 kilometers, you will see signs for Lake Oloidien. Keep an eye out for the entrance on your right; it will be indicated by local signage.
