From the town center of Nakuru, head east on Kenyatta Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Moi Road. Turn left onto Moi Road and walk for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway (A104). Walk along this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for the Out of Africa Picnic Site. Follow the signs, and after crossing a small bridge, you will arrive at the picnic site entrance.

Start at the Nakuru Railway Station. From the station, cycle north on the Nairobi-Nakuru Road (A104) for approximately 2 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the signage for the Out of Africa Picnic Site. Once you see the signs, follow them to your left off the main road. You will find the entrance to the picnic site after a short ride. Ensure you are wearing a helmet and follow traffic rules.
