If you are starting from the center of Mitrovica, head north towards the bridge over the Ibar River. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Bulevardi i Pavarësisë. Walk along this road for about 10 minutes until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rruga Ismail Qemali. Continue for another 5 minutes until you reach a small park area. The Spomenik braniocima otadžbine od šiptarskih terorista i NATO agresora1998-1999 is located in this park area, visible from the road.

Public Transport
From the main bus station in Mitrovica, take any bus heading towards the northern part of the city. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the nearest stop to the bridge over the Ibar River. After disembarking, walk towards the bridge and cross over. Once you are on the other side, continue on Bulevardi i Pavarësisë, following the walking instructions provided above.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Mitrovica and head towards the Ibar River. Follow the bike path along the river until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and then cycle straight onto Bulevardi i Pavarësisë. Continue cycling until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Rruga Ismail Qemali. The memorial park will be on your right after a short ride.
