If you are driving to Song-Kul Lake, take the A365 road from Bishkek. Follow the signs for Issyk-Kul Lake, then turn onto the Balykchy road. Continue until you reach the village of Kyzyl-Tuu. From Kyzyl-Tuu, follow the signs to Song-Kul Lake. The road may be unpaved and bumpy, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended. The journey will take approximately 3 to 4 hours, depending on road conditions.
