Walking
If you are staying in the central area of Luang Prabang, head towards the main street known as Sisavangvong Road. From the Royal Palace Museum, walk north on Sisavangvong Road for about 10 minutes. You will see the morning market on your left, just before the intersection with the Nam Khan River. Look for the colorful stalls and local vendors selling fresh produce and handicrafts.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many shops around the city. Start at the Royal Palace Museum and ride south on Sisavangvong Road. Continue until you reach the intersection with the Nam Khan River. The morning market will be on your left. It’s about a 15-minute ride. Make sure to lock your bike at the market before exploring.
Tuk-Tuk
Find a tuk-tuk driver near your accommodation or at a popular tourist spot like the Royal Palace Museum. When negotiating a fare, tell the driver you want to go to the morning market (ตลาดเช้า). The ride will take around 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. Be sure to agree on the price beforehand.
