Tuk-Tuk
From the center of Luang Prabang, head to the main street (Sisavangvong Road) where you can easily find tuk-tuks waiting. Tell the driver you want to go to the Luang Prabang Elephant Camp located in Ban Long. Show them the address ‘QXQJ+38R, Ban Long’ if needed. The ride should take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the many shops in the city center. Head east on Sisavangvong Road until you reach the intersection with Khem Khong Road. Continue straight until you reach the Mekong River. Follow the riverbank road north for a scenic route. After approximately 5 kilometers, you’ll see signs for the Luang Prabang Elephant Camp. It’s about a 45-minute ride, so be prepared for a bit of exercise!

Walking
While it is a long walk, it is possible to walk to the Luang Prabang Elephant Camp. Start at the center of Luang Prabang and head to the Mekong River. Follow the river north for about 5 kilometers until you reach the signs for the camp. This will take approximately 1.5 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
